The National Association of
Exclusive Buyer Agents
"Only an Exclusive Buyer Agent
(EBA) can guarantee to represent you in your
home purchase and guarantee to negotiate on your behalf," says Tom Early, Past
President of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA).

|
"A listing
agent's job is to get the seller the highest possible price on the best terms. An
exclusive buyer agent's
job is to get the buyer the lowest possible price on the best terms."
|
An EBA will provide the true facts as to value, market, neighborhood conditions and
obvious physical defects. A listing agent can not tell you about many things that would be
detrimental to the sales price, because they work for the seller.
Members of NAEBA are dedicated to promoting the rights of and representing the best
interests of the buyer in every real estate transaction. Founded in 1995 to educate the
public about exclusive buyer agency, NAEBA is an independent alliance of exclusive buyer
agents throughout North America whose real estate companies do not take seller property
listings and who work to preserve the rights of consumers to be fully represented when
purchasing real estate.
NAEBA members must adhere to the highest legal and ethical standards of practice. To
learn what you can expect from a NAEBA member when he or she represents you in your real
estate transaction, please read our Standards of
Practice.
